Surface Preparation
Clean the surface thoroughly before application. Remove any oils, dust, or contaminants that could affect adhesion.
Application Temperature
Apply tape at room temperature (65-75°F) for optimal adhesion. Cold surfaces may reduce initial tack.
Pressure Application
Use a squeegee or roller to apply firm, even pressure across the entire tape surface. This ensures proper contact with the substrate.
Edge Sealing
For critical masking edges, burnish the tape edges with a plastic squeegee to prevent paint bleed-through.
Removal
Remove tape while still warm after curing. Pull at a 45° angle for clean removal without adhesive transfer.
Storage
Store rolls on end in a cool, dry place. Shelf life is 12 months from date of purchase.
Do not exceed the rated temperature of 400°F. Extended exposure at maximum temperature may affect removal properties.
